Where the Prices Disappear
These tools publish some prices and hide others behind “contact sales” — almost always the top tier, which is exactly the one a growing team ends up on. The count is of plans listed on the vendor’s own pricing page with no number attached.

Not Measurable (and Why That Is Not a Bad Score)
Our reader could not extract plans from these pages, so they are excluded from the ranking rather than penalised. A blocked or JavaScript-only pricing page tells you what our automated reader can see — it says nothing about whether the vendor publishes prices to a human visitor. Scoring them would make this dataset wrong, so we don’t.

Methodology
Every week our monitor reads each vendor’s official pricing page and records the plans it lists. A plan counts as published when it shows a monthly or annual price — a free plan counts, since $0 is a price. A plan counts as “contact sales” when the vendor lists it but attaches no number. The grade is the share of published plans: A is 100%, B is 75% or more, C is 50% or more, D is 25% or more, F is below that. We do not estimate prices, do not use third-party databases, and do not score pages we could not read.

How is the transparency score calculated?
For each tool we read its official pricing page and count how many of the plans listed there show an actual monthly or annual price, versus how many say "contact sales" or show no number. The score is that percentage. Nothing is estimated and no third-party data is used.
